Sunday Mornings 11:00am – 12:15pm
Blessings, Inner Protection & Spiritual Friends
Buddhas function to bestow blessings, or mental peace, onto the minds of all living beings. How can you harness these powerful blessings? And, how do these blessings support to cultivate and maintain loving and compassionate minds based on wisdom? Finally, how do spiritual friends, who function like nurses, help us to actually take the medicine of Dharma in daily life? Come explore these questions with Gen Chokyi on Sunday morning and empower yourself.
“Buddha’s function is to bestow mental peace on each and every living being every day by giving blessings. We know that we are happy when our mind is peaceful, and unhappy when it is not. It is therefore clear that our happiness depends upon our having a peaceful mind and not on good external conditions.” - Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche
